Last weekend I traveled to G’s RC Raceway in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania for the St. Jude Charity Race. I ran my 4WD Mod SCT and my 1:8 E-Buggy.
I am glad to be racing with Pro-Line and I honestly think that with racing Pro-Line Tires I have an advantage!
In 4WD Mod SCT I ran Pro-Line M3 Stunners with the Pro-Line EVO SC Body all day and was able to set the early TQ in round one and beat that TQ in round 3. During the double A-Main I took the victory in A1 and in A2 had a malfunction in the truck but was fast enough to still finish in 2nd place. Overall after the two Mains I got 1st place.
In 1:8 E-Buggy, I went out in heat one on Pro-Line X4 Hole Shot 2.0s and the Pro-Line Phantom body for the Mugen MBX7 and was able to sit in the 9th position after that.
In heat two I put on my freshly glued M3 Suppressors and qualified to the 5th position. I decided to run the Suppressors in heat three and had qualified to the 8th overall position.
The Tires worked amazingly all day and I never broke traction at all.
When it comes to the Suppressors, they work awesome on dry, dusty, wet, and loamy tracks because I ran the tires on all four of those different types of track all in the one day just because of how much the track changed throughout the different heats.
Now to the 1:8 E-Buggy Mains, in the first A-Main I battled hard until the very end and managed to get 4th in that race. In the second A-Main I kicked it up a notch after being put down to last position due to an early wreck I made. Throughout the entire race I stayed calm and consistent and made my way up to the second position. The entire race was a battle to the top.
Overall after the 1:8 E-Buggy Mains I finished second behind the top competitor at the race.
Thanks,
